Bridgestone launched its ‘Prepared to perform’ campaign for Paris 2024 last year and with less than 6 months to go until the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, defending Olympic gold medallist Charlotte Worthington reflects on her preparation so far.
Worthington said: “I feel like I’m in a good place in my preparations. I’m feeling happy with my relationship with sport and life outside it right now. I haven’t had any competitions lately, so it has been an opportunity for me to work on some different areas and experiment, one of my favourite things to do. I’m keen to keep making progress in this window before the season starts.”
Next up is the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup in Japan, which will help Charlotte build and experiment ahead of the Olympics Qualifier Series where she aims to perform consistently well.
The Bridgestone ambassador admits that she leans into the support of her incredible teams and people around her. She added: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
