This summer, British Cycling are teaming up with new supporting partner KETTLE Chips to encourage more families to get out on their bikes and experience the joy of cycling.
Through the exciting new partnerCHIP, KETTLE Chips will be encouraging crisp-lovers across the country to get involved in British Cycling’s Guided Rides through the #PedalWithKETTLE campaign. The programme offers free and friendly local bike rides, led by a trained Ride Leader, which are a great way for riders to meet new people and build up their confidence on a bike.
Through the partnership, KETTLE Chips will also be supporting our Summer of Cycling activity, highlighting opportunities to ride through our affiliated clubs in what is set to be another jam-packed summer of sport.
The eight-month partnership will see British Cycling feature on KETTLE Chips packets in stores nationwide, and the KETTLE Chips team will also be taking to the streets during the Tour of Britain events – so keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to grab a pack while you cheer for the riders on the roadside.
Darren Henry, British Cycling Commercial Director, said: “We’re delighted to welcome KETTLE Chips on board as we gear up for what is set to be another memorable summer of cycling, and thank them for their support for our work to get more families enjoying the benefits of riding together in their communities.
“Our commercial partners play a vital role in allowing us to invest in our sport and programmes to create more opportunities to ride and break down barriers to participation. Working with household names like KETTLE gives us a great opportunity to share the joy of cycling with their customers nationwide and highlights the continued enthusiasm for our work amongst some of the country’s most well-known and loved brands.”
Valeo Foods UK Chief Marketing Officer, Michael Inpong, said: “We are delighted to be supporting British Cycling in helping more families experience the joy of cycling. Making a positive contribution has been an important part of our philosophy since day one, and we are excited to be chipping in with British Cycling’s Summer of Cycling campaign and the #PedalwithKETTLE launch, inspiring Britain’s families to get outside and enjoy bike riding.”
