Remarkable Commerce delivers new website for Westbrook Cycles

Bespoke ecommerce platform provider, Remarkable Commerce has announced a partnership with Westbrook Cycles that have seen it re-platform the cycling specialists’ website to increase orders, page speed and session duration. 

Remarkable Commerce has also developed several new functions for the Westbrook Cycles Parts Finder system, which enables customers to find specific components to fit their existing bikes. 

Cyclists can now quickly find their specific bike components out of the 20,000 items on the site, without even knowing the name of their make or model, using a tailored image-finding system developed by Remarkable. 

The re-platforming of the website has seen a 60% year-on-year average-order-value growth, a 15% increase in page speed, and a 40% increase in session duration and engagement length. 

Aspects of the re-platform include the rebuilding of the Parts and Components Finder Solution after it was hampered by the previous platform, full integration with over ten brand stock feeds, and new payment method integrations including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Adyen. 

In the five-month re-platform project, Remarkable migrated Westbrook’s all stock feeds, product and customer data. 

Since the new site launched in June 2022,  the new storefront and integration of personalisation technology have seen an immediate growth in Westbrook’s website performance.
